Exhibition | experience – Visit of the Chevalier House, Old Quebec in Augmented Reality

3D Modeling, Augmented Reality techno-culture at the service of heritage

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Québec’s inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage city, this exhibition traces the evolution of the historic district from -600 million to today.

Get in touch with the highlights of the story thanks to the unprecedented use of Augmented Reality manipulated by a “DJ”. Broadcast on a giant screen, the virtual model of Old Quebec in 3D reveals, among other things, the location of the first Amerindian site, the construction of Habitation de Champlain and the stages of the construction of the fortifications. Narrations in French and Huron-Wendat as well as texts in English and Spanish accompany the discovery. In addition, original music played in an immersive surround sound environment adds sensation and emotion to the visitor experience.
